Zones of Regulation - Magic Potion Spell Book
Printed out, laminated and placed in a binder to use as a physical objects on reference. I introduced each potion one by one (I had the physical bottles with water and mica powder in each). We looked through the spell book and explored each feeling - I as the teacher modeled drinking each potion and acted out an emotion that took come from the red, yellow, green or blue Zones.
After I used a SmartBox Grid to ask them which potion a person had taken to consolidate their understanding. The Grid file is not supported on here but you could easily replicate it by creating a PPT.
Very fun lesson - the children really loved it, especially because you can get very theatrical.
