Textbook with a variety of topics - used to bridge the gap between Primary and Secondary School (based on UK curriculum). It is based on my school, where History is only taught 2 periods a week, so I had to write my own textbook. (23 weeks of teaching - plus I usually do a revision lesson and a lesson with a test every 2 units for 1-6, then a revision lesson and an end of year exam that includes all units = c.31 weeks)

Topics are listed below:

Unit 1 - Ancient Egypt

Unit 2 - Ancient Greece

Unit 3 - Ancient Rome

Unit 4 - African Kingdoms

Unit 5 - Central and South America

Unit 6 - East Asian Empires

Unit 7 - The Vikings and the Russian Empire

Unit 8 - Turkish Empires and the Crusades

Unit 9 - Life in the Middle Ages

Each chapter contains information AND activities for students to complete - some of which can be completed just using the book, whilst others will require students to do independent research. Each chapter also has certain unknown words in bold which can be found in a glossary at the end of each chapter.
