I have found that Aesop鈥檚 fables are an excellent means of teaching comprehension because the students can visualize the characters in the Aesop鈥檚 fables and can create comic strips that will help them understand the fables.

Teachers can use these stories as classwork to teach or homework to assess if the students have learnt the skill of comprehension or need more practice.
