**A full Art project (PowerPoint), based on artist Bob and Roberta Smith’s slogan Art. **
Students to create an artist research page alongside colour swatches and practice painting pieces. Their final outcome is recommended to be drawn using carbon paper (print Smith’s work, paper clip to carbon paper and students draw the outline) and filled with their explored/chosen colour theme from their swatches.
Students should answer “why is Art Powerful” and “why are Words Powerful” prior to the end of the project.
Powerpoint slides can be edited to suite your school needs and the PPT includes general notes from how this project was taught to a Year 8 cohort. As part of the download, help guides are attached.
This project has been well enjoyed by a year 8 cohort as they’ve adapted their indepdence in Art.
