Careful. Although I personally love the sound of Latin American accents, we have to be careful with regards to the confusion they create with C and S. Even at the beginning we have an example of this with the word pronunciación, it is pronounced as "pronunsiasión" and many students, just as many Latin American natives do, will spell it with a S instead of a C. They need to be used to the /th/ sound of C when going with E and I. Otherwise we can count on loads of spelling mistakes. English speakers can pronounce /th/ and we should make sure that our students do too. Mine have no issues pronouncing "vacaciones" or any other word with Ce and Ci. I use phonics and they really help with Spanish spelling.

Hi there! I really appreciate you taking the time to write the comment, I'm a bit confused about it though so it's made a bit sad! Is this about the freebie? The YouTube video is just an extra resource I thought might help some teachers/students (but just like any other YT video, it's free and public for anyone to use). Both my freebie (the picture) and the video clarify the pronunciation is based on Latin American sounds (I definitely agree it can be more confusing in terms of spelling, but some of us do need to teach LA pronunciation specifically and there aren't so many resources out there :)). So, considering the resource is indeed intended for this variety, please let me know if there's anything else you didn't like and think I should improve, I'd be more than glad to work on it if it's something I just didn't think about!
