This lesson introduces the OCR B GCSE history course and in particular The People’s Health unit.
In this lesson students are encouraged to think about the importance of public health and why it is necessary for the government to involve themselves in the health of the people.
Students then finish by getting an introduction to the three main ancient beliefs about the cause of disease that were prominent during the medieval period which is the first period they study.
