Learning objectives
• Understand the concept of a life cycle
• Introduce the importance of recycling

In this lesson, taking inspiration from The Lion King’s: The Circle of Life, children discuss circles and cycles that they can see in the world, e.g. the lifecycle of a plant, day and night, the seasons, and consider the impact of when something breaks the circle.

This activity shows children that we are all part of a Circle of Life, encouraging pupils to think about how we can protect our circle and make our world a better place.
