In this activity, students imagine they are part of a group stranded in the Rocky Mountains after a sudden avalanche. With a limited list of items available for survival, students must work together to determine the most essential supplies for survival. The challenge requires them to use critical thinking, communicate effectively, and reach consensus to make decisions that could mean life or death in a survival situation.
This activity helps students strengthen teamwork skills, build resilience, and understand the importance of communication and adaptability. It encourages them to think analytically, manage resources, and reflect on the role of each team member in achieving a shared goal.
