This festive workbook gives teachers 25 printable pages for Nursery/EYFS: 20 single scenes with a Father Christmas theme (e.g., Santa takes a nap, Santa builds a snowman, Santa fills a stocking) plus 5 extension pages, each showing four mini-scenes. Each picture has dashed outlines for children to trace before colouring in.
Use the pages to build fine motor control and pre-writing skills.
Tracing supports pencil grip, hand–eye coordination, and control.
The extension pages add early writing: children trace, colour, then write a word, phrase, or a short sentence underneath the pictures.
The resource links to Celebrations and Special Days and gives a simple introduction to Christmas within Christianity.
It also supports Literacy — Handwriting and Writing through practice and meaningful vocabulary.
In class, model finger-tracing first, then pencil tracing, then colouring.
Offer word banks or sound mats for emergent writers and sentence starters for confident ones.
Quick assessments can focus on staying on the dashes, pencil pressure, letter formation, and spacing under the pictures.
