A 5 week SOW for KS2-3 Dance on Rock and Roll.
A fun Rock and Roll unit of work where students will explore and implement a variety of choreographic devices including unison, canon and repetition.
Students learn about the origins of Rock and Roll and will create a group dance focusing on performance skills and rehearsal. The SOW includes recall activities, group work, scaffolded tasks, extension tasks and plenaries. The SOW builds up to a final performance with a self-assessment.
