During Weeks 3 and 4, Year 2 pupils will deepen their understanding of place value within 100. They will explore the value of tens and ones, compare and order numbers, and use number lines accurately. The children will practise counting forwards and backwards in steps of 2, 5, and 10, building fluency and confidence with number patterns. Through engaging activities and problem-solving tasks, they will apply their knowledge to real-world contexts, providing a strong foundation for future mathematical learning.
