

Off the books electives are one-off subjects that allow you to teach a specific topic without needing to do a lot of planning or have students undertake assessments - in other words - a fun, practical class over a term to generate interest in your subject area!
This particular off the books topic is breadmaking. There are 8 modified bread recipes that can be made within a 1hour lesson, including:
- basic bread rolls
- pretzels
- bagels
- focaccia
- cheese & garlic naan
- pizza calzones
- baked cinnamon doughnuts, and
- gozleme
All recipes are for paired students and include a list of all ingredients, method and image of end product. There is space for students to note down all required equipment during a demonstration or workflow planning component. A list of important vocabulary is also included in the workbook.
No program is needed or supplied for this workbook because all you need is the workbook, ingredients and a cooking room!
