This is a powerpoint lesson introducing 5 letters of the Russian alphabet. It assumes no knowledge of the alphabet previously and starts with а/о/м/к/с. It is the first of 6 lessons on the Russian alphabet which aims to slowly introduce the alphabet and writing system to students, giving them time to practice and develop.
This is suitable for KS3 students and beginners at KS4 (though it may be more beneficial to combine lessons 1&2 for KS4 to increase pace and demand).
Activities include: listen and repeat, graded questioning, reading practice and speaking practice.
