This lesson was created for a KS3 English-Drama class exploring ‘Frankenstein’ with the Phillip Pullman play adaptation.
Students are invited to consider if Frankenstein’s creature is a monster or a victim through discussions, prompts and analysing production videos from the 2011 National Theatre production.
In the lesson students also have a scaffolded writing task, ‘Frankenstein’s Rebuttal’ in the form of a monologue.
