I have developed some simple worksheets to use with my adult ESOL students who are on GCSE English. They struggle with using and identifying inference within text. This is the second worksheet looking at inference, which can be used as homework or starters. It is quite simple and is scaffolded. Can be adapted to suit your own cohort, hope it helps.
