Differentiated imaginative writing grids. These grids can be used for morning challenges, early finisher, or as part of a main lesson. Children roll dice to determine their opener, setting, character, a WOW word , connective and punctuation. After children have selected each criteria they then create a sentence using the selected criteria. Children can create many single sentences or use their initial selection to develop a paragraph or story.
