A Second Level song pack for the traditional Jamaican song Hill and Gully Rider.
The pack includes a short background of the song, the melody, lyrics, a game to play while singing the song, a rhythm task and instrument parts to add in while singing.
Students will learn what a call and response song is, sing a traditional Jamaican song with a game, develop their knowledge of syncopation and play a bordun on tuned percussion and an ostinato rhythm on untuned percussion.
