Greece, Greek Mythology, Reading Comprehension, Literature, KS2, KS3, Choices, Role Playing, Gamification, Choices Matter

In this “Choose Your Own Adventure” short story, the magic of role playing comes to life through the medium of Greek Mythology. Inspired by tabletop RPGs, this interactive story encourages dice rolling, teamwork, role playing, and careful decision making. Students will solve riddles, survive dangerous dice rolls, and win thrilling battles as they journey through Ancient Greece.

Your class has been transported back through time and space to the land of Ancient Mythological Greece. Here, the students must work together with the priestess Pythia to gather the necessary magical artifacts to charge her sending spell to send you back home.

Will you succeed in solving the Oracle’s riddle?
Will you be able to sneak past the terrifying Minotaur in its labyrinth?
Will you challenge the fearsome Centaur in battle, or befriend it instead?

This short story features over 20 pages of interactive choices with multiple avenues for success, designed to immerse your students in what feels like a living, breathing story with multiple endings. Go to the specified pages like an old school CYOA book, or click the links to automatically go to the appropriate page, like a modern visual novel.
