These Year 7 French lessons introduce students to the basics of describing where they live using the verb habiter. Across the three lessons, learners build foundational vocabulary related to types of housing (house, apartment), size (big, small), and locations (city, countryside, village). They also revisit family member terms and learn how to say who they live with. Through listening, speaking, reading, and writing tasks—including modeled texts, translation activities, and sentence building—students develop the confidence to describe their home and household in French with increasing complexity.
