GCSE Exam question compilation on Error Intervals (limits of accuracy), of increasing difficulty and number of steps.

The first part of the worksheet worksheet focuses on cross-over questions, suitable for both foundation & higher students, mostly finding error intervals for various given lengths and stated accuracies. The second part is for higher tier only, and covers the limits of accuracy of related calculations using these values, finding maximum and minimum values. Moving on to problem solving question, combining error intervals with topics such percentages, algebraic expressions and compound units.

Alongside the worksheet, there is an accompanying video walkthrough, hosted on my YouTube channel, Mr Tompkins Edtech, making these ideal for students working independently, or allowing you to flip the learning, getting students to work in class where they have support, and allowing them to self-mark and uplevel at home. Perfect for last minute revision!

The exam practice paper sets featured in this worksheet and video are owned and produced by AQA, Edexcel and OCR I am using them here for instructional purposes.

The solutions to provided in the video are my own and have not been provided or approved by OCR, Edexcel or AQA. There may be other methods of solution possible than the ones I have shown.
