Students explore how deficit spending, government programs, and World War II helped bring an end to the Great Depression. Activities include quote and photo analysis to understand how economic recovery was shaped by FDR’s policies, wartime production, and the resilience of American workers. Students will examine personal narratives, historical data, and political cartoons to see how hope and hard work helped lift the nation out of crisis.
