Practice symmetry and repeating patterns with this Easter egg symmetry worksheet! A fun and easy starter, extension or consolidation activity for Key Stage 1 (KS1) / Key Stage 2 (KS2) practicing symmetry. They can use their colour and shape knowledge to repeat the pattern along the mirror line on the second half of the shape.
Encourage the children draw their own symmetrical Easter egg on the blank egg sheet also included - they can make a symmetrical egg design themselves or draw the first half for a partner to complete.
This file downloads as a pdf, so it can also be printed on its own. Alternatively, children could complete this activity using iPads / tablets and editing it on the screen.
