Engage your youngsters in the skill of counting, matching and tracing numbers to ten with this fantastic dinosaur themed resource. Designed for Kindergarten and EYFS students, these colored A4 printable pages can be turned into reusable placemats once printed and laminated.

Little learners can select a mat, identify the number from 1-10 and use a dry wipe pen to trace that number, supporting number formation and recognition. Once that’s done, count the corresponding dinosaurs (not included) to place into the circle. I’d use dinosaur math counters, or those from my classroom small world collection.

This is an ideal hands on activity for your math centers, continuous provision areas, interventions, small group work session and homeschool education.
