The word mat contains lists of adjectives, verbs, adverbs, ideas for personification, similes, metaphors and allusions. There are also prompts for sensory descriptions and prompts for ISPACE sentence openers. The mat also contains ideas for colours and a list of ten challenge words (with definitions).
