The resources are designed for delivering Levels 9 and 10 of the Victorian History Curriculum 2.0 based on the Victorian Teaching and Learning Model (VTLM 2.0). It formed the foundation of my work supporting the Department for Education of Victoria and the History Teachers’ Association of Victoria to implement the latest curriculum across the state.
Each lesson is fully inclusive, culturally sensitive and differentiated to challenge all attainment levels and are also suitable for teaching the Australian Curriculum 9.0 in all states across the country.
The resources I created whilst teaching in the UK helped my cohort of students achieve and sustain results that far exceed the national average. My examination classes consistently attained the highest possible grades in any subject and/or class year-on-year in a school of over 1300 students.
I have worked with the examination boards for over 12 years, and I have utilised feedback from students, fellow professionals, experienced colleagues and used my own professional judgement to ensure that each resource will help you to teach quality history lessons so that each student achieves their personal best.
I am proud to be recognised as a ‘Gold’ TES Author, a status awarded to top-rated contributors. My 5-star resources, recommended by TES, have been trusted by educators around the world and have been downloaded nearly a million times to help students achieve success.
