This is one term of work to prepare students for taking Child development at level 2. It is aimed at year 9 students and allows them to understand the Physical and Emotional Needs of Children. This term focuses on completing Physical Needs and then continues with Emotional Needs. There is also a milestone test which can be sat at the end of term 3.
There is opportunity in this unit to complete some practical work with how to make up a baby bottle and how to change a nappy if you have the resources available.
