A new range of PowerPoint resources aimed at assisting teachers with the delivery of the Cambridge International A-level Business specification. These slides are designed to support the delivery of 7.4 Human Resource Management Strategy. The slides commence with an analysis of hard and soft HRM before they progress onto an examination of various flexible working contracts including: part-time, flexi-time, shift work, compressed working hours, work from home, annualised hours, job sharing, zero-hours contracts, temporary contracts and the concept of the Gig Economy.  It next looks at measurements of employee performance e.g. labour productivity and absenteeism rates and considers ways in which a business can improve performance.  It then looks at the concept of Management by Objectives before concluding with an examination of the role of IT and AI in HRM. The slides contain the Quick Fire Five questions and also a practice extended answer question (both with suggested solutions).
