
A new range of PowerPoint resources aimed at assisting teachers with the delivery of the Cambridge International A-level Business specification. These slides are designed to support the delivery of 7.3 Leadership. The slides commence with an analysis of what is meant by the concept of leadership and the roles of leadership that can be commonly found within a business e.g. director, manager, supervisor and worker representative. It then considers a series of leadership theories relating to trait theory, behaviour theory, contingency theory, power and leadership and transformational leadership. The presentation concludes with an examination of Goleman’s Emotional Intelligence model and his four competencies of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and social skills.  The slides contain the Quick Fire Five questions and also a practice extended answer question (both with suggested solutions).
