This Booklet was created to support students with preparation for the completion of Task 1 on their 4 chosen musical Styles.
This is designed so students complete the definitions at the beginning of the booklet for key terms linked to the sonic and composition features which can then be used to support explanations in the creation of their portfolio of written work.
As well as sections for each of the 4 chosen styles for them to work through and complete so they have detailed enough notes they can then use whilst completing the task in exam conditions.
Once completed the students should have enough written down to support the production of work that could be in the top mark band for discussion of sonic and composition features.
This can be easily edited to the musical styles for your school.
