Suitable for KS3 and KS4.
The lesson takes students through AFOREST and they should use the complementary sheet to add their own examples. The examples are based on stealing although could be adapted as you see fit.
I found it useful to narrate additional examples to help some of my classes (particularly y7).
Students can then play cops and robbers. Essentially, once they have all of own their examples, invite them to walk around the room and steal from their classmates, populating the final column of the sheet.
Students are then to return to seats to look at model answer and either in pairs or as a class come up with a success criteria for a speech.
Students can then use their examples from AFOREST to draft a speech of their own, using the success criteria to stay on track!
